The No-AI Starter Pack trend!
How could I pass up the trend that overloaded AI servers? Following the initiative of illustrator Patouret, who created the hashtag #starterpacknoAI, I decided to create my own AI-free Starter Pack. Choe Sangback is a friend of mine with a wide range of interests. I thought carefully about the objects that best represented him, then added them to his figure.
My beginnings with Photoshop
To learn how to master the software, I created a composite using two elements: Dory and the background. I then added visual elements to make the whole piece feel more cohesive.
Colorization
I wanted to add color to a drawing I had made on paper. I scanned the drawing and then made corrections and color adjustments in Photoshop. I deliberately used unconventional colors to experiment with shading.
One Piece
As a fan of the manga, I used an existing drawing as a reference to draw and color it myself using alcohol markers
Naruto
The natural next step was to draw the main characters from Naruto Shippuden.
JINX
I loved the Arcane series, both for its story and for the visual composition of its settings and characters. So I drew Jinx, one of the show's main characters.
Mathao
In 2025, I bought a graphic tablet and started creating characters to learn the Procreate software. This character is Mathao, a surfer who loves living peacefully by the sea and who also loves fishing.g.
Naruto & Luffy
I wanted to draw two manga characters that I really like, along with a few Easter eggs referencing other manga that I enjoy.
